Last week, Alan Roura was in Neuchâtel to share his experience with the bank's employees and to thank them for their support during the four years of preparation for the Vendée Globe.

At the age of 31, Alan has just completed his third Vendée Globe in 18th position, after 84 days at sea. This sporting result does not satisfy the Swiss sailor, but it is far from reflecting his race, which he experienced with great pleasure and above all the satisfaction of having fought intensely at every moment.
The 10th edition of the Vendée Globe ends on an exceptional note, in terms of sporting achievement, popularity and media coverage. Experts agree that the sporting level of this competition has increased significantly. The popular enthusiasm for the Vendée Globe is unabated and the figures speak for themselves: 2.45 million people went to Les Sables d'Olonne for the Vendée Globe.

The Swiss sailor improved his previous race time by more than 10 days, having covered 28,553 miles in 84 days.

The first skippers are expected in Les Sables d'Olonne between January 14 and 15. Stay tuned to follow Alan's progress in this final stretch.

Alan Roura continues his thrilling adventure around the globe, ever more determined to push back his limits. Last Sunday, after 55 days and 18 hours at sea, our ambassador rounded the mythical Cape Horn in 17ᵉ position. This intense moment, symbolizing the passage from the wild immensity of the Pacific to the South Atlantic, marks the start of the final stretch towards Les Sables d'Olonne.
