Bonhôte strengthens discretionary management department

Bonhôte is pleased to announce the appointment of two members of staff, Esther Halas Budinsky as Product Manager, and Pascal Maire as Portfolio Manager, which will strengthen the discretionary management department at the Neuchâtel head office.

She is also a Swiss Fund & Asset Management Officer and has earned ESG analyst certification from EFFAS (European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies). She has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, gained at GE Capital, Société Générale and BCV.

In her new role as Product Manager, Esther will leverage her expertise to develop new product ranges, investment funds and discretionary investment mandates tailored to the needs and expectations of wealth-management and institutional clients.

Esther is delighted with this next step in her career. “Joining Bonhôte, a renowned wealth manager and one of the first to commit to sustainable finance, represents a real opportunity,” she says. “I want to build on this innovation-focused heritage not only by contributing to the development of sustainable investment products but also by enhancing the asset management offering as a whole.”.

Pascal holds a Master in Finance, majoring in Financial Analysis, from the University of Neuchâtel and is an SAQ-certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA).

He has 15 years’ experience in private client management, gained at BNP Paribas, Stonehage Fleming (a multi-family office) and more recently at Credit Suisse in Switzerland.

Pascal will be joining the discretionary management team. “For a portfolio manager, every decision represents a vote of confidence from the client,” he says. “I’m delighted to be joining Bonhôte, which works hard to cultivate close relationships with clients while offering them a comprehensive range of products.”.

“The department’s growth is based on two pillars: a solid strategic vision and a skilled team from diverse backgrounds,” says Julien Stähli, Chief Investment Officer. “By recruiting two talents to strengthen our discretionary management as well as our asset management offerings, we’re investing in our future by putting client needs at the heart of everything we do and by developing our product ranges.”.

Bonhôte, a Neuchâtel-based bank with more than 200 years of history, sees this development as another positive step for its business. It also has branches in Bern, Biel/Bienne, Geneva, Lausanne, Solothurn and Zurich.
